02.15.06

Thanks
Well, first off we need to thank Jenn for rescuing our board. It seemed to be hacked again and she took the time to put every thread back in place. Thank you Jenn!

Personal
It has been a crazy time for me lately. Not to bore you with personal details, but I've had some family issues, adjusting to being a student again, adjusting to NYC, etc. Because of this, Ever has had a time of 'cool off'. I'd like to thank those board members that still checked in. I can think of 5 off hand that hung in there. Thank you. You can check out some of my current films here. Also, Michelle has been directing her NGO (non government organization) FOUNT. We will be in Uganda most of this summer for it.

Current
Things we having going right on are: the remix competition of the track 'Decay'. I didn't set a date or a prize or anything like that, and we have already had some amazing entries. I like remixes for a lot of reasons, but a big is that remixing is how I got into music creation. We also have begun sending off our Press Kit to labels. They look amazing and I feel confident that something should come of them. I have also been asked to work on a Vanity-Beach track as well as a track on the new Club Deceased disc. Michelle has also begun vocal work on a Delta-S track. So, there really is a lot going on.

Future
I have started laying down the beginnings of a couple new tracks. Our goal is to have them completed and produced before the summer, including vocals and Joey's touch. This goal might be a little too unrealistic, but so was "The Unraveling" and that worked out. I want to handle this project differently though.

I would like for you guys to be more involved. I feel Ever's sound changing a bit and I want your input. So, the way I am planing to go about this, is that when I complete a part of a track, or an idea, I will post it just for board members to get your feed back. Should be fun.

Thanks again for your interest and your involvement and being looking for another big year from Ever!

new update 10.06.05

Hey everybody. It's been a crazy couple of months. We released new EP only a couple of months ago. We have had a great response. We have almost sold double the amount of EP's to our first album. So we feel great about it. Michelle and I moved to NYC about 2 months ago now. New York has been really good to us, but a really hard change as well. I have landed an awesome internship working with an Academy Award winning Director working on the Who Movie . It's a new documentry on the band The Who. I am in film school, learning tons. It's been great. Ever took a back burner for a bit, but we recieved our press kit and are pushing a head to labels. I am in talks to get possibly do something more with the EP, we'll see. The idea phase for the new Ever site has begun and I have started on two new Ever tracks. So, lots cookin'. Stay close and I'll keep you in the loop on all the new Ever. As usual, you'll get first peek. I hope all is well with you!

I got a new job at Apple SoHo as an iPod Genius!! Film school starts in about 2 weeks and work starts Monday, so everything is falling in place. Anyway, our press kits are on the way, so Ever is still rolling. I hope everythings going good with you!

in Albuquerque!

Hey everybody! I just got back from a video production job in Florida and drove from San Fran to Albuquerque, NM. Michelle and I arrived yesterday. I has been amazingly busy with packing, moving, traveling, and the video gig. But, we will be in Albuquerque for about 5 days, so I'll be on the board a bit more. Then, it's off to NYC on the 8th. I have already called the people to set up Internet, but you never know how fast it will be hooked up.

Anyway, here's the update on Ever. Our press kit is on it's final draft!! We are really excited. Once it's complete, we are sending it with our album to some labels we are hoping for. It's an exciting time for Ever. We have spent so much time creating Ever, now this is our chance to show labels who we are.

Thanks again for checking in on the board and making the effort to see how we're doing. You all rock, feel free to email me any time. :)

New EP / New Website

Wow, it's only been six months since our last release and here we are again.

I am really excited about this EP. Since it is an EP, I felt freed up to do things a little different. As Simon puts it, this EP is a step forward and a step to the left for us. I wanted to make songs that were incomparable to our first album. Hope you enjoy! Please stop by our board and let us know what you think.

I also updated our MySpace, Live Journal, and Pure Volume.

March 12, 2005

Ever wins Album of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year!

Album of the Year 2004: Ever - Ever
These newcomers to the scene have definately made a lasting mark. Their first release is splashing over the indie genres, appealing to fans all over the spectrum. With Michelle's haunting voice and Jesse's magical manipulation of sound, Ever is not to be matched. And if this is only the beginning, imagine what's in store.

Female Vocalist of the Year 2004: Michelle, Ever
Anyone who hears Ever's first release must be stunned by the unimaginable beauty captured in Michelle's voice. With an almost gothic chant quality, who needs more?

Radio-Active-Music

Review from Re-Gen Magazine!
"This is a beautiful record that deserves more coverage. Ever should keep on doing what they're doing, because the formula works. Adding some more vocals into the mix would be nice too, but one can't complain too much about a self-released album. Ever has done an amazing job here, and hopefully their next effort will bring them much more praise."

REMIXES
We are remixing a track from my new favorite band The Anix as well as a track from an awesome LA band Citrus.

EP
We want to release a 5 vocal track EP in March. It would also have 3 unreleased remixes of 'Idyll,' and a remix of 'Stay.' I have 4 tracks almost ready for Michelle's vocals. It would be awesome to do a cover song as well. So, it is in the works, I may have set unreasnable date, seeing as we just released in November, but I want it to work. I'll keep you updated.

Anidote Magazine
The popular music zine, which usually covers indie and low-fi rock acts, has geneously written a review of us. Check it out at http://www.antidotemag.com/.

Automata 8
If you have not bought this Magazine yet, you NEED to. It is awesome. Ever has a track on the CD sampler. If your looking for a good way to support Ever and to find new, similar music, here's the way to go!

Christmas Comp
That right, already thinking about Christmas. We have joined a compilation to be released next Christmas featuring Gothic/Industrial/Electronic. More news to come.

NEW WEBSITE
We are still in the process of development. Simon is amazing and it is shaping up nicely. I'm eccpecting it up soon, but it will be worth the wait.

New banner/avatars
Boredeadly has done it again! He has created an awesome banner and some great avatars for Ever. They are awesome... so, use them! http://evermusic.net/Material-For_ever.html
